At Sportsfuel, our Clearance section is a great way to grab a bargain. Here’s what each clearance type means so you can shop with confidence.

1. Dated Products

Includes: Short dated, best before, expiry dated items

These products are discounted due to their date status:

• Short Dated – Approaching the best before or expiry date.
• Best Before – Leading up to, at, or past the best before date, but still safe to consume when stored correctly. “Best before” refers to quality, not safety.
• Expiry Dated – At or near the expiry date. These are clearly labelled.

We always display the relevant date information so you can make an informed choice

2. Hardened or Dented

These products are discounted due to cosmetic or texture changes:

• Hardened – Powders or bars may have firmed up due to temperature changes. They remain safe to use but may require breaking up or blending.
• Dented – Packaging may be dented or slightly damaged, but the product inside is unaffected and safe.

Quality may be visually different, but performance is not compromised.

3. Overstocked

These are perfectly good products, they’re just stacked a little too high in the warehouse, so we’re making room (and giving you a bargain).

• Excess inventory
• Seasonal or packaging updates

No date or quality concerns, just great value while stocks last.

Important Information

Dated, damaged, or hardened products are only available online. These products are not available in store or on click and collect.  

Products with flavours or sizes labelled *Overstocked!* are available at the discounted price in store, online, and on click and collect. To add an *Overstocked!* discounted product to a click and collect order, you must add the 'original' flavour/size to your cart, not the flavour/size labelled *Overstocked!* in the clearance row. Both options are available for the same great price, we simply add it to the clearance row to make it more clear for you to find! 

For example:
The bottom clearance row indicates Extreme Milk Chocolate is an *Overstocked!* clearance discount. For click and collect only, you must select he 'original' option in the main selection panel before adding to your cart. This is simply due to how the stock is allocated for each store. You're still getting the same product at the same great price!
